Places of refuge

Places you can go

Domestic abuse can take the form of physical, sexual or mental and emotional abuse perpetrated by either a partner or ex-partner.

You may just want a break from the abuse rather than wanting to separate from your partner permanently.

In these circumstances Women's Aid can provide refuge for you and your children.

You can contact Women’s Aid through the office phone numbers listed, or visit during their advertised opening hours.

Or you can phone the Scottish Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0800 027 1234 any time, day or night. The Scottish Domestic Abuse Helpline can put you in touch with your local group, or a group in another area if you would not feel safe locally.
