Thinking of leaving

Domestic abuse can take the form of physical, sexual or mental and psychological abuse perpetrated by either a partner or ex-partner.
You don’t deserve what has been done to you. It’s not your fault. You’re not to blame. You can get away if that’s what you want.
If you feel unsafe staying in your own home, you may think about leaving.
There are options for leaving your abusive partner: stay with trusted friends and family, contact the housing department for re-housing and women’s refuges.
